  • What type of shoes do you sell?

We sell womens shoes from sandals, ballet flats and boots to special occassion high heels.

  • What's end of line?

These are the last of our best sellers. Normally we have limited sizes. These are dramatically reduced to clear.

  • What’s a second?

A second is a shoe that has some cosmetic damage, it can be glue or a mark caused while in production. When a shoe has been marked it allows us to further reduce its price.

  • What’s the difference between a designer sample and second?

A designer sample may have a common manufacturing imperfection such as pencil marks, imperfect joins on the seam and are not defective stock. From time to time there are manufacturing faults that are not identified during our quality assurance process – please refer to our returns policy.

SIZING

  • The shoes I want aren't available in my size. What can I do?

Our website is very accurate and it is highly likely that the shoe has sold out. However, if you would like us to check please email enquiries@dseshoes.com.au or call our office 07 3255 5255. We will check our stocks and warehouse “just in case” it is wrong.

PRICING

  • I have seen the same product on another site. Do you price match?

No, we do not. We are aware of our competitors’ pricing, however if you do see something on line please call or contact us with the details.

POSTAGE

  • How long will it take to receive my shoes?

If you live in Australian metropolitan areas the delivery time is 2-3 days, longer if you are in rural areas.

  • Do you deliver to anywhere in Australia?

We use Australia Post and yes, we deliver to any address in Australia free of charge.

  • How do I change the delivery address after I have ordered?

You must contact us as soon as you know. If the delivery has not been sent we will change it but if sent we will provide a tracking number and will do our best to redirect it with Australia Post.

  • Do you deliver internationally?

Yes we do however the postage varies between each country. The prices are below.

  • How can I track my order?

Your order will be sent using Australia Post. A tracking number and website link will be sent to you via email.

  • Will I have to be home when my order arrives?

If the postman deems it safe to leave the parcel he will leave it. Generally if your home or door cannot be seen from the street the parcel will be left. However, if the postman deems it a risk he will leave a card and you will need to collect it from your local post office.

CANCELLATIONS

  • How can I cancel my order?

We generally pack the order within 24 hours of receiving the order from Monday to Friday. If you wish to cancel your order please call us immediately on 07 3255 5255. If the order is sent we cannot accept the cancellation.  We will also apply a restocking fee of 20% of the order price if your order has already been packed.

PAYMENT

  • What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard.

  • Is tax added to my order?

Yes, all shoes are in Australian dollars and subject to GST (Goods and Services tax) which is already included in the purchase price. You will see the tax component at the end of your ordering process.  For international buyers we are unable to provide currency conversion but you can check on sites such as xe.com to calculate the amount.

  • I have a voucher code. How do I apply it?

If you have a voucher, you will be able to enter the code during the check-out process. Simply click apply and the voucher will be applied to your final amount.

  • How do I know if my order has gone through?

You will receive 2 automatic emails once your payment is processed. One will be from Discount Shoe Emporium and another from PayPal.  If you do not receive these emails or you have provided an incorrect email please contact our office immediately.

  • Is it safe to use my credit card on Discount Shoe Emporium?

Of course! All payments are processed via PayPal and their secure encryption protects all your personal and credit card information from unauthorised access.

  • What is PayPal?

PayPal is a payment method for online purchases enabling buyers and purchasers to send and receive money online. PayPal has over 100 million member accounts in over 190 countries. One advantage of using PayPal is that it offers faster, safer and easier checkouts and promises to protect customers from revealing their credit card information to the merchant.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

  • I received the wrong size what do I do?

Please call us so we can discuss which size will suit you best so we can place a special order with our warehouse and hold the shoes for you! Then send back the shoes with a prepaid self-addressed satchel – please make sure that the satchel is big enough to hold your shoes-all shoes must be returned in their shoe box.

  • How do I return my order?

In the unlikely situation where you need to return your order, please fill in the return form on our website http://www.dseshoes.com.au/account/return/insert . Please note that we only accept returns:

  1. Within 30 days of the purchase
  2. In original condition and no signs of wear
  3. Still in the shoe box with original packaging inside.

We will then call and discuss your shoes and advise of the next step. When returns are accepted we ask that you pack the items similar to how you received them and place them in the satchel or similar to what you received the shoes in. You will be advised of the postal address by one of our team. Depending on the circumstances the postage back to our office will be your responsibility.

*Note that we will decline a refund request if the product shows signs of wear or does not have their original undamaged packaging.

Can I exchange my shoes if they don’t fit?

Yes you can, however the cost of postage to exchange the item will be your responsibility. If you wish to exchange your shoes we suggest adding a pre-paid self-addressed satchel with the shoes that you are exchanging. Please note that the shoe must not show any sign of wear and the box and contents must be in very good condition.  

How long does the refund process take?

Once your item is received by our returns department, a refund request is forwarded to our finance department and will be processed within 3 working days. Depending on your bank, your refund will appear in your account in approximately 1-7 business days. On your statement the refund will appear as Integrated Marketing Australia.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

I am having problems browsing Discount Shoe Emporium. What should I do?

The website works with all browsers however if you are having problems, try changing to another browser to see if you have the same problem.  If you are still having troubles please call our office on 07 3255 52522.

How do I unsubscribe from your mailing list?

On the bottom of every newsletter we send there is an "Unsubscribe" link. Simply click "Unsubscribe" and it's as easy as that. We'll be sorry to see you go, however you can always re-subscribe at any time so you can be the first to know about sales and subscriber-only promotions.
